I
was very lucky when I was growing up; I had the fortune of growing
up on a farm. Playing around with tractors and motorbikes as a
child and spending much of my time outdoors has given me most
of my inspiration. My travel insticts have come from my watersports
background. At the age of eighteen I moved to West Wales and tought
sailing and windsurfing where I descovered there's far more to
life than staying in Essex. In 2003 I bought my first campervan
and left the UK destined for South Spain for a couple of months
kitesuring. A year later I returned home, five months spent in
Morocco and driven half way accross the Sahara. I was hooked on
campervans and built my own for the next kitesurfing trip. That's
when I met Cally, she was totally green, no idea what I was on
about most of the time. Having only ever done the 'package holiday'
thing, she gave up everything she knew and heading of into the
sunset with me. The rest, as they say, is history...

Cally
grew up in a village in East Hertfordshire. Her up bringing,
most people would say, was just about as normal as you could
get. After leaving college she worked in a restaurant until
she met me, some 10 years later. When we first met I was buying
my next van to convert, Cally had thoughts of buying a flat!
Within the first couple of months being together she had already
become a big part of the van conversion and still didn't know
what she was getting herself into. Ten months after first getting
together she gave up her home, her job, her car and her life
for a new life, a life in a campervan! Today she's very much
half of everything, I might have the dreams, the ideas and the
drive to get things done but she's still there 100% of the way.
She even eats sea food now!
