The windows that were originally in the box were
single pane glass and huge. We wanted something much smaller and opted
for caravan type windows made by Seitz. The reasons for smaller windows
was for security and minimise the amount of sunlight able to shine in.
We
had a coach building company remove the old windows and fit panels ready
for the new windows. We needed the panel work completed at this stage
as before I could begin insulating and lining the box. The finished
panels were finished very well and most importantly, were very strong.
The
last step of this stage was to have the shiny new panels sprayed the
same colour as the rest of the truck. Andrew Lodge of Lodge Coaches,
an excellent sprayer done this for me. I saved his time and my money
by masking and preparing the panels myself.
This
is the progress so far...
