After doing our first searches for a Unimog, it became apparent that it would be difficult finding one with a box already built onto its back. I was almost set on buying an ex-military unit and having a custom made box fitted when I found our Mog at Witham Specialist Vehicles. I would've tried to have a fully custom unit built for less than £20,000 which would have been stretching us a bit. The Unimog at Witham SV was priced at £14,500. The ad posted on their website had the following information:

So this Unimog appeared to be just what we were looking for. It even had a 5kva generator fitted. I got in touch with Graham Hodson from Witham SV and arranged to view Mog.
