It’s quite easy to think “Hey, we’ve done this Unimog conversion and set up for the trip all by ourselves” and forget that it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of so many kind people. The people we mention below have been invaluable to us for completing the conversion and making this trip possible.

Thanks to my parents; My Mum for putting up with us for all those months allowing us to save lots of money. My Dad for helping with so many things there’s far too many to list here.
My Nan for letting us stay so often and letting us keep stuff in her garage.
Andrew Lodge for some sound advice and the many favours.
Dave Sellens for bits and bobs I didn’t have.
Paul Hartley for mechanical advice and sourcing parts.
Dave Fergeson for some fantastic fabrication work.
Allan Ponder, for saving us some massive headaches and giving us the best solution we could’ve asked for.
Derek from Hoblongs for a last minute shower tray!
Paul and Geraldene for putting us up at the last minute.
Callys mum; Jenny for storing our belongings while we’re on the road.
And last but not least my two brothers Ian and Matt for all their help, especially over the days before our departure.

There’re plenty more people that have helped in one way or another and thank you to you all. The people I’ve mentioned above have been exceptional and gone out of their way to help when they didn’t need to.

We’ll see you all when we’re older and wiser.

I did not fully understand the dread term "terminal illness" until I saw Heathrow for myself.
